Janelle McCarron

Having grown up in North Queensland with family and friends still living locally, Janelle feels connected to issues around regional and rural health.

Following on from this experience, Janelle and her family had the opportunity to live and work  in Kalgoorlie WA for over two years.

Whilst there, Janelle gave birth to her second child.  She continues to be grateful for the local GP, nurses and hospital staff that assisted and ensured her well-being and that of her husband and children throughout that time.

Whilst Janelle now lives in Brisbane, she continues to value the work undertaken by all who contribute to the health and welfare of rural communities in Australia.
