A little help can mean so much

Rural Doctors Foundation are on the ground and connected to the rural and remote communities where we work and live. We care about making a difference and saving lives. Your support goes directly where it’s needed, and it can make a real and lasting difference.

And it is very much needed. Rural doctors wear many hats, and while it’s rewarding, we wish for more for the people we not only count as patients, but friends. Lack of services, sheer distance and lack of expertise can leave rural communities under threat. Mortality rates in our communities are 1.8 times higher than in the city. We must change this.

How can you support rural communities?

From emergency support and purchase of lifesaving equipment, to funding innovative ideas to improve health outcomes. We’re running important health check-up clinics and conducting rural health research. In all we do and are, we’re dedicated to giving rural and remote Queenslanders better and fairer health outcomes. We’re doing everything we can to support them. If you can see your way to supporting us, then together, we can help fill the gaps that leave rural people disadvantaged.
